"Hera" greets the mortals at Hidden Cafe during
The Valentine Lines.

Making Hay Productions, LLC, is a small-venue theatrical performance group that believes in lively comedies and fun stage presentations. Funny, original shows that are seasonally appropriate and loaded with silly characters: "Leaf Fall," Lake Beulah Carol Larsen, " Hera, the goddess of marriage and Cupid, god of love. We can't forget the unforgettable chefs of the 3 Chefs Series; Jan Johnson, Quinarius Benton-Andrews and Willie Briande, all take center stage (in different shows and productions of course). All of these shows are presented in a unique reader's theater staged reading format, which is similar to an old-time radio show. The actors use a script, but are in costume, in character and often use props.  Reader's Theater shows are fun, flexible and designed to travel. In addition to performing in traditional venues such as restaurants, our shows can move to a business conference room, a living room or any large space. A lively comedic performance can be scheduled for just about anything, including anniversaries, corporate social events and other special occasions.
